DESCRIPTION:join the Frankfort Area Chamber of Commerce and Frankfort/Franklin County leaders on a Community Leadership Visit to Owensboro\, KY.  We'll have the unique opportunity to explore the innovations and inspirations that are driving Owensboro's economic growth.\n\n \n\nOur goals for this trip:\n\n \n\n * To strengthen the network of decision makers\, public and private\, who \n\n     shape our economic system\;\n\n*  To explore innovative ideas and programs which have helped to build\n\n     partnerships to impact positive community change\;\n\n*  To provide the opportunity for our business and civic leaders to cultivate\n\n     new relationships leading to a common sense of mission and discussion of\n\n     community projects needed to improve the quality of life for our area.\n\n \n\nWe will visit and learn from top performing Owensboro leaders from the public and private sectors in areas including education\, transportation\, health care\, economic development\, downtown redevelopment\, tourism and regional collaboration.\n\n \n\nThe Chamber will coordinate all arrangements including overnight hotel accommodations  at the new Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown/Waterfront\, meals\, and program sessions for our Community Visit.  Special thanks to our  Corporate Sponsor Community Trust Bank for sponsoring our Transportation.

LOCATION:The Chamber will leave Frankfort\, KY at 4:30 p.m. for Owensboro\, KY on September 23\, 2014. Visit and Tour with Owensboro leaders on September 24\, 2014 and return the evening of September 24\, 2014.
