SUMMARY:Virtual Summer Camp - Share History: Family Fun
DESCRIPTION:Description: Tell your family story the way that Kentucky families have been doing so for generations! Tune in to daily virtual tours of family-related artifacts in our museum collection\, create a scrapbook of memories\, paint a family tree\, talk to family members about their traditions\, design a new family heirloom\, and invent some new traditions for the future. Virtual summer camps will come with a "camp kit" full of crafts and activities based on a weekly theme\, along with access to a wide variety of related digital resources and supplementary materials. Camp kits generally include all activity materials that are not readily found around the home. Our museum educators will meet with campers daily from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. via Google Classroom to lead activity instruction and virtually tour the museums. Kits can be picked up at the History Center for FREE or shipped out for an additional fee. Please direct all questions about camp to Julie Sawnor\, Camp Coordinator.
