Come join us on Thursdays in June and July at our shelter (14 Fido Ct) from 10 AM - 12noon for our summer Doggy Book Club! June Dates: - 6/4, 6/11, 6/18, 6/25 July Dates: - 7/2, 7/9, 7/16, 7/23, 7/30 Volunteers will lead kids in a craft activity together for the first hour and then kids will break up to read to dogs (and cats) in their kennels. This gives kids a chance to practice their reading skills with a non-judgmental, friendly companion. Plus it helps our dogs and cats socialize to get them ready for adoption! Kids can bring their own books or we will have a small selection to choose from. - The event is ideal for kids 7-11 but this isn't a strict age range. - All kids must have an adult accompany them and stay for the program. - The event is FREE. - No RSVP is required - just show up! ** Sponsored By: First Federal Savings Bank **
