Description
Liberty Hall Historic Site will unveil its new historic laundry room setting on September 1 at 5:30-7:30 p.m. In addition to showcasing the room setting, event-goers will enjoy music by the Leestown Jug Band, featuring John Harrod, and play along with the band using jug band instruments like washboard, string bass, and jugs. A specialty potato chip-and-dip bar will provide the starch needed to iron out any hunger pains. Beer, wine, and soft drinks will also be available for purchase. Admission to the event is free, and guests are encouraged to bring blankets and camp chairs. Rain date: Sept. 2.
