Because of his outstanding love for the Frankfort community and the Chamber of Commerce, we have named our Leadership Frankfort Scholarship after 2023 Leadership Frankfort Graduate - Karl Lawrence who passed away too soon at the young age of 56, on Thursday, June 20, 2024.
Today we unveil to the public The Karl Lawrence Leadership Frankfort Scholarship.
Karl was a 2023 Leadership Frankfort graduate; served as the current Vice President for Downtown Frankfort, Inc.; board member of Capital Pride; and Legislative Liaison for the Frankfort Area Chamber of Commerce. He had an artistic talent that was illustrated through his graphic design, photography, and stained glass.
Karl's love for Frankfort's people can be found downtown at Mortimer Bibb's Public House – a place Karl designed and handcrafted to bring together community, fellowship, and history with a Guinness in hand. At the pub, Karl would be found greeting friends – old and new, talking of his world travels, and hosting the community with the warmest of welcomes.

Fees/Admission
You may donate as generously as you desire.
100% of the money raised will go to the Scholarships fund for those attending the Leadership Frankfort program that are unable to afford the tuition.
