Description
Description: Grab your tinkering hat and dive into the world of Kentucky innovators. After exploring the world of Kentucky inventions through a virtual visit into our Southern Exposition exhibit, become an innovator yourself! Problem-solve your own egg drop device, bind a journal to sketch patent ideas, build models of contraptions, and show off your gadgets to everyone at the end of the week. Virtual summer camps will come with a “camp kit” full of crafts and activities based on a weekly theme, along with access to a wide variety of related digital resources and supplementary materials. Camp kits generally include all activity materials that are not readily found around the home. Our museum educators will meet with campers daily from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. via Google Classroom to lead activity instruction and virtually tour the museums. Kits can be picked up at the History Center for FREE or shipped out for an additional fee.
