Description
Description: Your mission—become the next great Kentucky spy! Design a disguise, communicate in code, practice stealth moves, uncover the power of surveillance, learn the art of concealment, and build your own spy gadgets. To master these skills, we will take inspiration from historic and modern-day CIA operatives, Civil War double agents, illegal smugglers, WWII codebreakers, and more. Virtual summer camps will come with a “camp kit” full of crafts and activities based on a weekly theme, along with access to a wide variety of related digital resources and supplementary materials. Camp kits generally include all activity materials that are not readily found around the home. Our museum educators will meet with campers daily from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. via Google Classroom to lead activity instruction and virtually tour the museums. Kits can be picked up at the History Center for FREE or shipped out for an additional fee. Please direct all questions about camp to Julie Sawnor, Camp Coordinator.
