About Us
Bluegrass Greensource provides environmental education, resources and outreach that inspires, equips and empowers Central Kentuckians with knowledge and tools to help ensure clean, healthy and enjoyable environments for future generations. Bluegrass Greensource also manages Buckley Wildlife Sanctuary. We are dedicated to protect the integrity of the sanctuary, its birds, wildlife, and habitats by developing strong support, sound management, and excellent educational programming. On site you will find a picnic pavilion, nature center, and hiking trails.
The trails are open Wednesday – Sunday Dawn-Dusk. Times will be updated based on season. A fee off $8 per car can be paid onsite with cash or check, or by using Venmo (see QR code in parking area).
