About Us
We are an action-oriented group that works collectively to address community-wide gaps, garner community support, and expand the capacity of member organizations to better serve the needs of the community.
CARES is composed of agencies concerned with the development and/or coordination of ensuring youth and adults have access to shelter, food, healthcare, mental health assistance, affordable housing, substance use treatment, and other basic needs and opportunities. Community partners are also a vital part of the coalition
Mission
The Frankfort CARES Coalition supports community agencies by providing resources, support, and advocacy for local member organizations.
Vision
To ensure that every person in Frankfort has all the supports they need to thrive and be successful. We do this by being a strong network of agencies who collaborate on shared goals and values, hold each other accountable, provide financial support for community services, and increase access to services for the good of the community.
Purpose
The purpose of the Frankfort CARES Coalition is to support and strengthen organizations who are ensuring access to shelter, food, healthcare, mental health assistance, affordable housing, substance use disorder treatment, and other basic needs and opportunities for individuals in our community.
