Calling all train engineers! Listen to stories about trains to imagine what it would be like to be a conductor in charge of a locomotive. Draw a design of a train and then build it as a gingerbread display to take home for the holidays. Next, put your new knowledge to the test by visiting the History Center’s model train exhibit to see how they operate. Best for ages 4-8 years, but all are welcome. Instructor: Megan Sauter Cost: Free for Kentucky Historical Society or Paul Sawyier Public Library members by presenting your card at the welcome desk; $5 per child + 1 adult for others. Registration recommended. Please call 502-564-1792 or email KHSeducation@ky.gov Payment is due the day of the workshop. Workshops begin at the front desk of the Thomas D.
