Description
Description: Set out on a virtual adventure through the Commonwealth and visit famous sites that can only be found here in Kentucky! Each day, we will visit a new “historic hotspot” in our state, completing different games and activities along the way. By the end of the week, we’ll have a passport full of stamps that document our journey spanning through Kentucky’s towns, forests, mountains, farms, and waterways. Virtual summer camps will come with a “camp kit” full of crafts and activities based on a weekly theme, along with access to a wide variety of related digital resources and supplementary materials. Camp kits generally include all activity materials that are not readily found around the home. Our museum educators will meet with campers daily from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. via Google Classroom to lead activity instruction and virtually tour the museums. Kits can be picked up at the History Center for FREE or shipped out for an additional fee. Please direct all questions about camp to Julie Sawnor, Camp Coordinator.
